“Circumstances don’t make the man, they only reveal him to himself.” wrote Epictetus, the Greek philosopher. Armagh Duncannon tests his hypothesis four thousand years later in 'The Pathfinder'.
Armagh Duncannon is 33 years old. He has a talented, professional wife, two wonderful daughters, and an authority problem. One day in the year 2073, he sees his doctor for a routine checkup. He learns he will not see 34. Coincidentally, Armagh is contacted to see if he would be interested in volunteering as a test subject in a deep space hibernation program, possibly a good idea since a cure for his condition was considered to be just a few years away. What did he have to lose?
Nothing and everything when he unexpectedly awakens to the 32nd century. He is far from Earth where he finds humanity has colonized hundreds of worlds throughout the galaxy and encounters advanced AIs, starships, political intrigue, new hybrid forms of governments, mercenary organizations, even love… And most of all, the not so advanced human condition. For the more things change, the more they remain the same.

While 'The Pathfinder' is a complete, stand-alone work, six volumes are planned for the series. Four additional full length volumes are complete to at least draft stage. Each is 100,000 words or more in length.
